The Sure Foundation Children Ministries was established on January 4, 2000 during the Second Anniversary of the Harvest Outreach Ministries, HOM; Harvest Outreach Evangelical Church by Evangelist, Mother. Janet Campbell Tarpeh, wife of Rev. Amos W. Tarpeh, Jr; founder of the Harvest Outreach Ministries. The establishment followed a vision she received from God "That the children can not be left behind" for Jesus loves the little children.
SURE is an indigenous self -supporting faith ministry with fivefold focus. They are:
* Establishing secular and Christian institutions so as to provide free education to orphans, the less fortunate children in Liberia and those on the Buduburam Refugee Camp in Ghana.
* Providing Christian counseling to orphans, handicaps, streets kids and children in desperate need, all of whom were affected by the Liberian Civil Crisis in order to rehabilitate them.
* Rendering relief assistance to orphans, children who victims of war and other living in difficult situations. ( Toys, Clothing, Food, School supplies and Tuition )
* Child Evangelism. It is a chief focus of Sure Foundation in bringing children to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ; winning the lost and preparing them for the Kingdom of God.

When you sponsor a child you will be giving the following:
* The ability to hear the Gospel
* The opportunity to receive an education (including books, uniform and tuition)
* The means to eat at least one meal per day
* The ability to receive two medical checks per year
* The need to be loved, care for and not lonely

SURE and FIRM FOUNDATION are designed to rescue, help and support thousands of children, youth and orphans in Liberia and Ghana (on the Buduburam Refugee Camp) from a life of poverty, hopelessness and homeless beginning and abandonment, by providing them with clothes, food, drinking water, an education and most of all the love of Christ and the kingdom of God.

LIBERIA
The HOM is a growing ministry. Since its establishment the church has being praying to find a permanent home for its headquarter in Monrovia, Liberia. The Church worshipped in a local school building for five years before moving to a commercial building where it stay for another two years. The Harvest Outreach Ministries central church has out grown the spaces allocated to it for worship. In view of the above the church has leased a land to do a construction for its future home. The agreement has been completed and construction is underway from a gift receive from the Pastor of the Refuge Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Rev. Amos W. Tarpeh, Jr.
The cost of the construction for the worship center is set at USD$12,500.00 (Twelve Thousand, Five Hundred United States Dollars) This will include a worship space for 400 people, a pastor office and 2 classrooms for Sunday school purposes.
GHANA
Further the Harvest Outreach Ministries branch church on the Liberian Refugee Camp in Ghana, West Africa has also began construction of her church building. The entire building project for this church is set at USD$6,000.00 (Six Thousand United States Dollars).
